Flavours cashier ( POS )3.13.2 - App Store

It is a whole cashier system in terms of the features that any restaurant or cafe owner needs. You do not need a kitchen system, or an application for the customer screen, or an application for the status of orders screen; because Flavors collects them for you in one place.

Some of the features that Flavours offers:
- Connecting to multiple printers for bills and kitchens.
- Table management where multiple tables can be created simultaneously for each independent barcode table.
- A digital menu through the barcode, which allows customers to pay through it and deliver the order to the appropriate table without need to call the waiter.

Version History Receipts and totals you can trust: paid add-ons print on their own lines, offline totals
match the server item by item, and split payments can no longer be recorded wrongly.

• Paid add-ons now print on their own priced line on the receipt and the tax invoice,
instead of being folded into the item's price.
• Offline totals are now calculated per item, exactly as the server does: discounts, fees
and tax are spread across the items in the order, so the price you quote is the price
that is recorded.
• Amounts ending in half a cent now round the same way on screen, on the card terminal, in
the QR code and in split payments, and a split of such a total no longer refuses to pay.
• Split payment now asks you to choose a payment method first, so a cash sale can no longer
be saved as a split with the wrong change.
• Order Edit: the exact-amount cash button shows the total and fills it in when tapped.
• Tapping quickly on the cart's minus button no longer changes the next item by mistake.
• Fixed crashes when adding table codes, editing products, switching accounts, printing the
shift report, signing up, logging in, using local sync, and opening the Plans page.
• Product photos use much less memory, which stops crashes on devices with little RAM. 3.13.2 6d ago Prices are right again when you are offline: add-ons are charged, a just-synced product
never rings up at 0.00, and offline totals match the server to the cent.

• Add-ons are charged. An add-on that belongs to an add-on group could drop off the cart
line — the product sheet said 6.00 while the cart and the receipt said 4.00.
• A product that has just synced no longer rings up at 0.00 while its tile shows the right
price.
• Offline totals now match the server to the cent. A tax-included price rings the price you
typed (12.00 × 7 is 84.00, not 83.96), an order discount on top of a product discount no
longer overcharges, a tax marked "not calculated" is charged once instead of twice, and a
variable-price item is taxed by its own taxes only.
• Cost and profit are recorded per line, so profit reports for orders rung on the app are
no longer understated by the quantity.
• The tax row in the payment summary no longer stays hidden for the whole session after a
cold start.
• Logging out and back in no longer lands on "Something Went Wrong".
• Customer display: the cart no longer blanks a second after each item is added, and the
thank-you screen shows after checkout on tablets.
• The order-type icon on the cart matches the one configured under Order Types, on every
screen.
• Local sync between devices recovers when its port is already in use instead of silently
sending to no one.
• The riyal symbol in the Offers dialog draws correctly instead of a box.
• Settings: a tax-included add-on option opens at the price you entered, not its net. 3.13.1 Oct 1 Build your menu once and reuse it, now in seven languages — plus a large correctness release.

• New: reusable add-on groups. Build a group once in Settings — its options, its pricing and
how many a customer must choose — then attach it to as many products as you like. Edit it
once and every product using it is updated.
• Add-on options can now be free, a fixed amount, or a percentage of the item's price, and
the option itself says which.
• The options sheet now shows one titled section per group, with a Required badge, the
allowed range and a live "2 of 3 selected" count. A group's minimum is enforced before the
item can be added, and a selection past its maximum is refused on the spot — including on a
barcode scan, which previously bypassed every check a tap goes through.
• Five new languages: Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, French and Simplified Chinese, alongside English
and Arabic.
• New: a driver registry under Settings, with licence, ID and residency expiry tracked per
driver and a badge on the list when a document has lapsed or is about to. An order type that
requires a driver now picks from it.
• Your barcode scanner works. On several terminals a scan registered nothing at all — no item,
no error — and in-store weighed labels, where the last digits change with every sticker,
could never be matched.
• Split payments: a declined card no longer lets the rest of the split charge on. Previously a
refusal did not stop the loop, and approved charges could be left with no order against them.
• "Order has been updated" is no longer shown when the update failed. A status change the
server rejected was reported as a success — a likely cause of kitchen statuses appearing to
revert on their own.
• Printing: a kitchen printer assigned to a cashier is reachable again, a printer switched off
in Settings no longer receives shift reports, settling from Order Edit now prints to a
built-in POS printer, and a receipt that fails to print now tells you instead of failing
quietly.
• Dine In works offline again. With no connection the table picker showed "No Table Found" and
the sale could not be completed, even though the table list was on the device the whole time.
• Switching branch now takes effect on the first try, instead of leaving the cashier on "Not in
Schedule" until you picked the same branch a second time.
• The kitchen board leads with the newest ticket instead of burying it at the bottom of the
column.
• The app no longer stalls in a rhythm on tills holding a lot of local orders. The pending-order
count was reading and decoding every stored order, several times a minute, on the same thread
that draws the screen.
• Orders no longer get stuck on the device, and two devices can no longer push the same sale
twice. There is now one queue with one rule for what is pending, and a success is read from
the server's answer rather than assumed from the absence of an error.
• Settings › Sync Data now tells you when each part of your data last synced and how much came
down. If a queued sale is being rejected, the banner turns red, names the reason and offers a
retry, instead of showing the same calm "pending sync" as a normal upload.
• The tax lines in the payment summary now add up to the total you are charging. The breakdown
was the only row in the panel reading the server's figures while everything around it read
the device's.
• Arabic: the Change line on a printed receipt said "the amount remaining", which reads as money
still owed, instead of the cash handed back.
• Security: devices syncing over your restaurant's network now prove who they are to each other
before any order data is exchanged, and the keys that authorise it are stored in your device's
secure keystore rather than in an ordinary settings file. 3.13.0 Sep 22 Close the common sale in one tap, and the largest stability and security release yet.

• New: pay the whole bill in one tap. The cart now shows a tile for each payment method
your order type allows — tap Cash, Mada or any of them and the sale is done, with every
check that Pay Now runs still applied.
• Clearing the cart now asks you first. It drops the linked customer, the order note,
every product note, any discount or coupon and the staged reference, and it used to do
all of that on a single mis-tap with no undo.
• When an order type needs a customer, a table or a reference, the cart now tells you
which one is missing before you tap Pay, and tapping the notice opens the right picker.
• Security: connections to our servers are now verified against your device's certificate
store, and a card payment confirmed by a customer display or payment terminal on your
network is now authenticated, so only your own paired devices can complete a sale.
• A crash that could fire once for every incoming order is fixed — on affected devices the
app no longer closes when a new order arrives.
• The camera barcode scanner works again. It had been failing the first time it was opened
in the released app.
• Fixed crashes when entering a cash amount while editing an order, when reopening the
order-type icon picker, when starting the app offline, and when changing a line in an
order you are editing while the connection is down.
• Orders no longer get stuck on the device. An order rung while offline was, in some
cases, never sent to the server at all — with nothing on screen to say so.
• Two different sales rung at the same moment on two devices are both kept. One of them
could previously be deleted outright.
• The kitchen now receives orders rung after the shift's scheduled closing time, so a late
order gets cooked instead of appearing only on the orders list.
• Shift and branch reports are rebuilt around what actually happened: the branch report is
now the sum of each cashier's session plus clearly labelled lines for sales with no
cashier and sales outside any session, so the figures add up in front of you.
• The cashier's report tab now shows the same cash figures as the printed report. "Cash
should be" was over by the change handed back to customers, and card and wallet rows did
not net out refunds. A "Cash Change" line was added so the arithmetic is visible, and a
duplicate "Total Cash" row was removed.
• Your menu can no longer appear empty while it is syncing. Product, category and price
updates now swap in as one piece instead of being cleared and refilled.
• Choosing options on a product and then backing out no longer leaves the wrong option
selected — or, on phones, charges for it.
• Arabic: add-on and modifier names on order detail and on the customer-facing display now
show in Arabic, and the Paid / Unpaid badge is translated everywhere.
• The print, kitchen-receipt and PDF confirmations now close themselves after printing, and
the "Payment processing" message no longer stays on screen after a card payment finishes.
• Reprint buttons on phones now respect the print-invoice permission, matching tablets. 3.12.4 Sep 3 A stability release: the kitchen board keeps itself current, orders and reports show all
of your data, and everything that should print, prints.

• The kitchen display now refreshes itself every 30 seconds, so a new ticket appears even
when the live update from the till is missed.
• The kitchen board shows every open ticket — In Progress and Waiting load in full
instead of only the first 20 orders, and Completed now lists the most recently finished
tickets first.
• Marking an order Ready now finishes its items too, and the card stays in Completed
after a refresh.
• Staff with a Kitchen role can open the board: no more "upgrade your plan" message, and
no more empty board, on a branch whose plan includes the kitchen.
• Orders no longer go missing from the orders list — an order rung up after the branch's
scheduled closing time, one created on the shift's opening minute, and one created
while online all appear now.
• The orders list, attendance history and shift reports load reliably again. Large pages
were being cut off mid-response and showed a technical error instead of your data.
• The shift report's product breakdown now includes every product sold, on screen and in
print, instead of stopping at the first 50.
• Mada card receipts print. The "print the Mada receipt?" prompt now reaches your receipt
printer, tells you when no printer is set up for it, and stays open so you can retry.
• A fully returned order's credit note keeps its VAT line, and the return receipt prompt
no longer closes itself before you can print.
• Print as PDF now honours your print settings: choose whether to show customer
information, the invoice message and product notes — your choice is remembered.
• Editing a product no longer loses data: a product with more than one price, size or
add-on now opens the full edit screen instead of the quick form, and calories are kept
when you save.
• Your product catalogue can no longer be emptied by a failed sync — if the server
returns nothing, the app keeps the products it already has.
• In Settings, "Accounts" is now "Users" and "Permissions" is now "Roles". Printer cards
no longer overflow their tile on tablets and larger screens.
• Error messages now read as a sentence instead of a technical code. 3.12.3 Aug 25 Order types and payment charges are now yours to define — plus a faster cashier, per-line
notes, and a built-in printer test:

• Create your own order types in Settings — name them in English and Arabic, pick an
icon, and edit or remove them at any time. Dine-in, takeaway and delivery are no
longer a fixed list.
• Give each order type its own rules: an extra charge (fixed amount or percentage),
which payment methods are allowed, which customer details are required, and whether
a reference number must be entered before checkout.
• Set per-order-type product prices and hide specific products from specific order
types, so a delivery menu can differ from the dine-in menu.
• New: set a service charge per payment method — a fixed amount or a percentage,
applied to the whole order. It is calculated correctly offline too, and appears on
the cart, the customer display and the receipt under its own name, so an order-type
fee and a payment fee are never shown as one number.
• The cashier now starts with no order type pre-selected when you have more than one,
so an order can no longer be rung up under the wrong type by accident. The same
applies to payment: nothing is chosen for you, and the method you tap is the method
the order records.
• Manage your product categories in Settings — create them, name them in both
languages, choose an icon, and edit or remove them.
• Every cart line now carries its own note, so "no onions" stays attached to the right
item instead of the whole order.
• Redesigned cashier browsing — start from a category, then pick the product. Tapping
a product goes straight where it should, with no extra steps.
• The order editing screen now uses the same browsing experience as the cashier.
• New Printer Test in Settings → Devices → Printer: run every document type on every
configured printer, or a single one, and see exactly what succeeded or failed.
• Kitchen tickets are now sent at checkout even when receipt auto-printing is turned
off, so the kitchen is never left waiting for a paid order.
• Noticeably faster — we removed artificial waiting time across the app, so screens,
search and checkout respond immediately.
• Payment fixes: a cash checkout can no longer complete for less than the amount due,
split payments keep the methods you picked, and totals and taxes are correct on
duplicated and edited order lines.
• Arabic and right-to-left fixes across browsing, payment and printed amounts: correct
arrow direction, correct spacing, and names and negative amounts that mix Arabic and
English now read properly.
• Country lists in settings and phone-number fields are populated again.
• Fixed a crash on the kitchen display when an order contained no products, product
cards overflowing their tile, product images disappearing after a failed refresh,
reports printing the word "null", and a subscription renewal that could stall after
it had already been created.

• Split payments are now always charged correctly — amounts add up to the order
total, are validated before checkout, and your chosen payment methods are kept
when the total changes.
• Safer checkout on unstable connections — a failed checkout is verified before
retrying, so orders are never charged twice.
• Paying an order later now always charges the price you entered, not the catalog
price, and requires a payment method to be selected first.
• Order editing now behaves the same as the cashier screen — variable-price items,
the cart, and the top bar included.
• Products with variable-price or weight-based add-ons now ask for the price or
weight before being added to the cart, and all product options and add-ons stay
fully visible instead of being cut off.
• Payment reports show accurate per-method totals, and card payments no longer
display "change due".
• Numeric fields accept Arabic-Indic digits (٠–٩) everywhere, including cash and
attendance entry.
• Larger, easier-to-tap controls, clearer text, and faster loading of long product
and order lists.
• Fixed several crashes: barcode scanning, picking images from the gallery,
loading product images on slow networks, the sales chart, and subscription
settings — plus improved crash reporting overall. 3.11.19 Jul 30 This update makes receipt and kitchen printing more reliable, and improves branch, account, and reporting workflows.

Printing
• Invoices now print to the correct cashier's printer.
• A clear message is shown when a printer can't be reached — no more technical errors.
• The copy count is now saved when you edit a printer.
• More reliable kitchen printing: one failed printer no longer blocks the others.
